How to Make Your personal Bobblehead 2
Next, you will want to work on the custom bobbleheads. The shape of the head is much more important than that of the body as it is a big clue as to the identity of the doll. The heads of most bobbleheads custom are in larger proportion to the body than they would be in real life.
Once you have created the head to be the right size, you will need to find an appropriate spring. You’ll want a spring that is fairly durable but still is able to move quite a bit. To attach the spring, drill a very small hole on the top of the body and in the bottom of the head. Straighten the very end of the spring and insert into the hole of the body with a small amount of strong glue. Once that is dried, do the same thing on the other end of the spring and connect it to the head.
When everything is dried and sturdy (it may take a few hours), you are ready for painting. This is the final step to create your own bobble head. Make sure to include identifying colors and features on your doll. The face isn’t extremely important if identifying features are well done.
